Totara Estate: Established in the 1850's, the Totara Estate was important for it's good quality shepp, cattle and grain. Today visitors can wander through the historic buildings that describe the history of the estate and the farming industry

Heritage Buildings: Visit the creamy white limestone buildings that give Oamaru all its character. The Habour/Tyne Historic area is home to a collection of curio shops, restaurants, gift stores and a Motoring Museum among other things.

Blue Penguins: The penguin colony provides you with the perfect opportunity to watch the blue penguins returning home from a busy day at sea. You will see them dive on the beach, climb the steep rocks and make their way inland to their burrows.

Moeraki Boulders: The perfect round boulders have been forming for over 60 million years. The unique lime composition of these boulders add to the rugged beauty that will enchant young and old
